General Introduction

Soma holds a PhD and Masters from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur and presently a faculty member with the School of computing Skills at BSDU. Her research expertise lies in the area of optical communication. Prior to joining BSDU, she was in the faculty position under National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) scheme at Government Women Engineering College in Ajmer, Rajasthan. 

Specialization

Her research portfolio has focused in the last 6 years on the study of coding techniques, optical code division-multiple access system and free space optics. Through her years of research experience, she mastered in simulation software such as MatLab programming and Opti-System.
