School of Automotive Skills at Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur hosted an
“Automotive Sketching Workshop” in collaboration with Studio34 DesignArt Pvt. Ltd. and
NIWWRD 1927 on 27 April 2019.
Studio34 is into automotive designing, both internal and external with Maruti Suzuki, Ashok

Today, the designers prefer to use traditional sketches for the earliest phases of conceptual
design, because of their ability to fulfil their natural and intuitive needs during their activity.
The effort-saving character of sketches allows the designers to concentrate more on the
creative side of conceptual design. New digital tools related to sketching activity may be able
to keep these properties.
The session conducted at BSDU helped the students to understand the various techniques to
make, their sketch informative, pleasant and easy to read. Experts stressed upon the
importance of observing (and copying) shapes, cars and perspectives, and consequently the
‘construction’ of complex car shapes.
Following Experts are invited for conducting the Session:
1. Mr. Ashish Choudahry, Studio34 Session on Design Thinking.
2. Mr. Abhijeet Bhogle, Studio34 Session on Hand Sketching.
3. Mr. Harshvardan Nehra, NIWWRD Session on Hand Sketching.
Around 35 participants attended the event and sharpen their designing skills. The student

them to bring their ideas on the paper effectively.

Rajasthan, who ought to make their carrier in the field of Designing.
The ultimate goal of the workshop was to accomplish expertise and comfort and fluency
